Jennifer Mascall is the Artistic Director of MascallDance, a platform for experimental and multidisciplinary dance she founded in 1982.

Canadian choreographerteacher, improviser, mentor and advocate for the art form, Mascall and her nearly 200 choreographies have received the Clifford E. Lee Prize, the Jacqueline Lemieux Prize, a Dora Mavor Moore Award, a Jessie Richardson Award, the Canada 125 Confederation Commemorative Medal, the International Women’s Day Award, the Ann O’Connor Award, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Best Performers Award (The Brutal Telling).  Most recently she has been honoured by the F.A.N.S. Distinguished Artist Award and the Isadora Award for her outstanding contribution to dance in British Columbia.
